While businesses around the world are closing their doors to prevent the spread of COVID-19, many pharmacies remain open to ensure the public has access to necessary medications. Even though many are working extra hours to keep up with the increased demand and face higher risk of getting sick, pharmacy employees remain dedicated to giving patients the care that they need.

American Pharmacists Month is a time to recognize pharmacists’ contributions to health care and all they can do for their communities. At FLAVORx, we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than to spotlight a few pharmacy professionals who go above and beyond for their patients. As the Vice President of Pharmacy Operations and Specialty, Rina Shah is responsible for pharmacy operations across Walgreens’ 9,560 store locations. Shah's impact has been great, recently leading the launch of  Feel More Like You, a new program at Walgreens which leverages the expertise of more than 15,000 pharmacists and beauty consultants to provide holistic care for people living with cancer.
