At FLAVORx we are a small family of 50 employees who work together to help our 46,000 Pharmacy Partners make a difference for families across the globe during medicine-time. We've discovered that members of our FLAVORx Family are also doing some pretty incredible things to make a difference in their own special way.

Meet Dan Connor, Director of FillMaster- the automation and equipment side of our company. At work, if you are trying to find Dan, you might have to chase him around the building as he is always busy taking care of everything from new equipment to quality standards to ensure that we are providing our pharmacy partners with the most reliable technology possible.

On the weekends Dan often volunteers with his family. He shared his most recent event- the Generosity Feeds event at Fork Christian Church in Kingsville, Maryland where they helped make meals for underserved children in Baltimore County schools.

"This is our second time at a Generosity Feeds event. They make it so much fun that it doesn’t feel like work at all. They play music, come up with cheers, and keep everyone excited and engaged the whole afternoon," said Connor.

Dan's daughters also get in the mix and enjoy the volunteer experience too.

"This is something that the whole family can take part in. My 5-year-old was packing boxes, and my 8 & 9 year-olds were scooping ingredients. The kids were thrilled to have an active role in preparing these meals," said Connor.

During the event, volunteers were able to package over 30,000 meals for Baltimore County school students that may not otherwise have a meal outside of school lunches.

"The girls enjoyed it so much that they just asked if we can find another volunteer event to take part in sometime soon. I couldn’t be prouder of them! Sure they love having their play time, but they also want to contribute back to the community with their time and effort."
