We are continuously trying to improve our educational program and figure out better ways to effectively reach and educate future pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. We believe that by providing the tools to help instruct students about the importance of medication adherence and how to address medication adherence barriers such as palatability and taste, our company and faculty efforts can help positively impact students’ ability to address pediatric medication adherence and clinical outcomes once they are out in the real world.
Here is what some of our pharmacy and pharmacy tech school faculty partners are saying about using FLAVORx in the classroom. The responses have been extremely positive and rewarding for us to hear!
“Thank you for extending this fantastic opportunity to our students. The more hands-on training we can offer them, the better potential employees they will be. The students are very excited about having a FLAVORx station in their learning lab!”
“I love the opportunity of having a flavoring station and sharing this information with our students. Our students just recently visited a retail pharmacy and one of the questions was about their oral flavoring system. It’s wonderful to have one and let the students learn about it hands on.
“I like having a flavor station for my program. I love the opportunity to make my students more marketable.”
“I have worked with FLAVORx in a previous position, and it was so beneficial for our staff to provide this service to our pediatric patients. I am so excited to have the opportunity to share this program with my students.”
“We love being able to further educate our students using the FLAVORx flavoring station. It is great for them to have that practical exposure prior to being out in the real pharmacy world. Thank you so much being so considerate and realizing that this education is valuable to the practice of pharmacy.”
“I loved receiving the flavoring system to teach our future pharmacy technicians. I am always looking for things that can increase our student knowledge and their skills.”
“I just spent our winter break working in a local pharmacy that had a flavor station and was trained on it and found that it was used on a regular basis in the pharmacy. I like that my students are be able to become familiar with it before starting their new career.”
“I think it is important for our students to get as much experience as they can. It is a great opportunity for them to be able to work with the FLAVORx station rather than just hearing about flavoring medications.”
“This is a great opportunity for the students to see first-hand how the system works and prepare them for use in their jobs.”
“I am so excited to incorporate this product into the classroom. I look forward to showing the students the product and they will hopefully carry your product information out to their clinical sites and future employers.”
“We are always looking for resources to bring the "real pharmacy" experience into the classroom in order to enhance student learning. We are very appreciative of this opportunity.”
